Senior Pastor Roy C. Watson

Pastor Roy C. is a native of Warren, Arkansas and has served as a Senior Pastor of Monumental Missionary Baptist Church of Milwaukee for the last 23 years.

Pastor Watson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Master of Education degree from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.  In addition, he also attended the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and MATC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pastor Watson has been a resident of the city of Milwaukee for 43 years. He worked a factory job for 10 years before working in the Milwaukee School system as a paraprofessional, and as a classroom teacher for 28 years.

​

Pastor Watson served as a leader Dr. Martin Luther King School and other various capacities.  He also served as a Mission leader of the Lakeland Association in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Pastor Watson has served 4 terms on the Executive Board of the Minnesota -Wisconsin Baptist Convention.

Pastor Watson has been married for the last 43 years to former Sharon L. Tatum of Banks, Arkansas. They are the proud parents of 2 children (Laura and Elizabeth) and 3 grand children (Daniel, Leah, and Aliviah).
